You will be missed from the Ballou Knights, I recall our last game at McKinley Tech HS, and I told you to get your team under control, and you said to me, "I am just the coach they do not always listen to me". We both laughed when I walked your team down to your bus waiting by MT Broadcast building. I really enjoyed working with you at DCPS athletic events throughout my tenure at SAMS. I will miss your smile and your calm demeanor. RIP Coach Bennett until we meet again on the other side, you definitely fought a great fight.
