My deepest and most sincere condolences are extended to the Malachi family. Sam was a friend and mentor to me during my career in the D.C.Fire Department. His warm personality and professional approach to his job served as an inspiration to so many. May GOD continue to comfort and sustain you during this time of loss and into the future. He will be sorely missed. May he Rest in Peace.

Rest in power Mr. Malachi. I’ll always remember being a little Kindergartener and you were just like hero status. A tall and strong fire fighter. I also remember your cool TV trays in the living room.

Sending all my love and prayers to you Sharon, Lori, Mrs. Malachi, DuBois and Soleil.

Condolences to all.

Samuel was a good friend, whom I have known for over 50 years.

When I first met Samuel, he was a Top Notch Wagon Driver Technician at Engine 14

at 4801 North Capitol Street. He served in that position for many, many years, until he was promoted to Sergeant.

I miss conversing with Samuel on the phone.

He is missed.
