Was born on August 12, 1954 to the late Mary Gertrude Farrington - Truesdale in Durham, N.C. He was educated in the Chapel Hill Public School System.

Early in life David relocated to live with his family in Washington, D.C. David was creative and resilient. He had a survival instinct that came second to none.

On Wednesday September 21, 2021, God stretched forth his almighty hand and David slipped away into that sweet by and by.

He is survived by one sister Ann Taylor. Nephews: Issacs III., James “Bullock”, Adam Sr., Kendal Sr., Kevin, Tory Sr.,Tony, and Calvin. Nieces: Danielle, Urina, Nancy, Tracey, Tameka, Tonya, Yolanda, and Michelle. Aunt Ruth “Hoochie” Farrington. A brother in law: Jeff Wheeler. And a host of great nieces, great nephews, and other family and friends.

He proceeded in death by his mother Gertrude. His sisters: Johnie Mae Truesdale - Wheeler, Veronica Truesdale, Donna McLean, and his brother Issac Truesdale Jr. Nephews: Antione Sr., Niece: Helena.
